The 2017 CHES Maritime Chapter Conference & Trade Show will be held in Halifax, NS at the Delta Halifax May 14-16. The theme for this year’s conference will be “Adjusting to changing times in Healthcare”. With seemingly never ending fiscal pressures and the demands for increasing efficiencies in a world of evolving technologies, it is challenging to do more with less while trying to maintain Healthcare’s changing standards. It is through this conference that there will be some take-aways to help you adjust, change and succeed.

The Conference will start with a Reception on Sunday evening. There are scheduled educational sessions on Monday and Tuesday with the Chapter’s Annual General Business Meeting on Monday at noon.

We are very excited to have world class humorist and motivation speaker Bill Carr, open our program on Monday morning. Hearing Bill speak will have listeners empowered and ready to take on the challenges facing Healthcare. Make sure you don’t miss this opportunity to be inspired by Bill’s unique perspective.

As has become the tradition, Monday afternoon will be reserved for spending valuable time with the many Exhibitor’s that always form an interesting and important part of our conference. As well, free admission is offered to plant maintenance staff to visit the Trade show from 1 -3 PM on Monday. You are asked to encourage staff to take advantage of this opportunity to see some of the latest healthcare facilities technologies and services while networking with colleagues from across the Maritimes.

There will be a dinner at a local eatery on Monday evening and a conference wrap-up with many draw prizes on Tuesday afternoon.

The Conference Agenda will be posted early in February for more details. The annual conference, as always, is a great venue to meet up with your colleagues and people in the healthcare field. Share information, learn from the seminars, and network with your colleagues from across the Maritimes and further.
