The Great CHES Golf Game will take place at the Ussher’s Creek Golf Course, one of Golf Architect Thomas McBroom’s finest masterpieces. All delegates and exhibitors are invited to participate. This will be a shotgun start Texas scramble format. $140 per person (includes cart). Bus transportation provided to and from Golf Course. |

This exciting tour will begin at 12:00 from the hotel with the boarding of a WEGO bus. The bus will first take you for a tour of the Floral Show House to see its collection of orchids, succulents, and other tropical plant species. Flying throughout the greenery are tropical birds that may sing for your entertainment! Next stop will be a ride across the Niagara River Gorge on board the Whirlpool Aero Car (pictured). You’ll be transported through the air in an antique cable car, while far below the torrent of water abruptly changes directions and creates one of the world’s mostmesmerizing phenomena. This leg of the journey is weather permitting. Following this experience, you’ll make a stop at the very popular floral clock (built in 1950) on your way to the final leg of the journey at the Butterfly Conservatory. This magical attraction features over 2,000 colorful tropical butterflies floating freely among lush, exotic blossoms and greenery. Return to hotel for 16:00. |

After attending the CHES 2013 Opening Ceremonies and listening to Mr. Jay Ingram’s keynote address, you will board the WEGO bus at 10:15 from the hotel for an exciting behind the scenes tour of the Shaw Festival in Niagara on the Lake. You will then have lunch at the beautiful Charles Inn and have some time afterwards to browse the shops in Niagara on the Lake. Boarding a 14:00 bus, you will then be taken for a wine tour of Inniskillin Wines on the Niagara Parkway. Inniskillin has been a respected winery pioneer committed to producing premium wines from premium grapes in Canada for over 35 years. The beautiful setting of the vineyards will surely make this tour one to remember. The last leg of the journey will take you to the Laura Secord homestead in Queenston. Travel back in time to the lovingly restored home of Canada’s most famous heroine and be enchanted by stories of her adventures and surroundings. Return to hotel for 16:15 |

The CHES Gala Banquet will be held in the Oaks Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Gateway on the Falls. With its close proximity to the Falls, this luxurious ballroom makes the ideal venue for the Gala Banquet. Pete Zedlacher, well-known comedian, will provide the entertainment for the evening. Pete is a stand-up comedian, actor, television writer, and winner of the 2006 Canadian Comedy Award for Best Male Stand-Up. An evening of fun and laughter awaits you!
