Emergency Facilities Management
CHES Emergency Facilities Management Human Resource Listing Service
Emergency situations occur all the time in Canadian Healthcare Institutions, yet maintaining business continuity is essential and could be compromised by the unavailability of experienced human resources, particularly in the context of a local disaster situation, be it natural, man-made, or pandemic in nature. There are also situations arising where health care facilities that are heavily involved in project work need temporary assistance, and specific knowledge and skills, to help them see the projects through to completion.
Additional expertise is often required in healthcare recovery from natural, man-made and/or pandemic based disasters. Resiliency and the ability of hospitals and health care facilities to overcome, work through, and recover rapidly from such events is paramount.
CHES membership is comprised of a wealth of knowledge, skills, and abilities in disaster management and recovery, and specific engineering and trades experience. The CHES Emergency Facilities Management Human Resource Listing Service is an inventory of available human resources with particular expertise that could be called upon to assist locations on a Regional and/or National basis in the time of need.
