This national conference attracts leaders from across Canada and around the world in the field of healthcare facilities design, engineering, operations and maintenance. The CHES 2023 conference theme is “Rejuvenating Healthcare Infrastructure”.
CHES members play a key role in leading the design, engineering, maintenance and operation, of our healthcare infrastructure which has a direct impact on the patient and resident experience. These leaders influence the rejuvenation of our healthcare infrastructure having a profound impact on the health and comfort of our patients and residents and the staff who deliver and support care. We are seeking leaders from Canada and beyond to inspire, demonstrate, educate and share with CHES members the stories, tips, research, design and operation methods and solutions as we lead the rejuvenation of our aging healthcare facilities.
CHES members are recognized as key players in shaping the environment within the facilities where healthcare is provided. Patients, residents, staff and visitors expect and deserve a safe, healthy, comfortable and inspiring environment. It is our role as part of the healthcare team to provide that environment. CHES members can be the key drivers in the rejuvenation process. The CHES 2023 education program aims to give our members the knowledge and expertise critical for success. Other topics of interest include the impact of engineering, design and maintenance on the health outcomes, as well as the expectation of delivering health care within our aging infrastructure.
